HOLIDAYING AT HOME THIS SUMMER?
Postiwyd Gan REALLY RUBBISH Ar dydd Mercher 6 Jul Am 11:14
Like many of us in the Really Rubbish team, if you are planning on staying in Wales for the summer holidays, then you won’t be missing out!
This week, Keep Cardiff Tidy announced that 41 of Wales’ beaches have been presented with an international award for their cleanliness. So you know that the sandy shores closer to home are just as good, or even better than many others in far flung locations. Beaches that get the award have to excel in their levels of cleanliness, with a guarantee to visitors that venues are litter free, have excellent facilities and have achieved a high standard of water quality. So, we’re sure you’ll all agree that it will be lovely to keep them that way.
Remember to take your rubbish home with you if you can’t find a bin on your beach of choice. A couple of nearby beaches that achieved this accolade are Bridgend Rest Bay and Bridgend Trecco Bay. For the full list of winning beaches or to read more, please visit - http://tinyurl.com/6x6a9vj
