CLEAN UP OUR PARKS

As the sun shined across the UK over the weekend, lots of people flocked to parks and beaches for picnics and barbeques but after their day of enjoyment, this left much of Cardiff surrounded by rubbish!
People had left disposable BBQ’s, cans, crisp packets, food waste and much more in a number of lovely parks and public areas instead of putting them in the bin or taking these home to be recycled! This made the parks look like a massive rubbish dump which is not fair on the people who then have to clean or on the people who live in the area and have to look at the mess left behind.
If you are going on days out with family or friends over the Easter break, make sure you pick up all your litter and put in the bins or take it back home and recycle it properly so others can enjoy these rubbish free green spaces!
