Earth day is a world-wide event that takes place on the 22nd April every year as a special environmental teaching day to let all children and adults think about the environment we live in and how we should all be doing our best to look after it.
People celebrate Earth day in many different ways , you too can be part of this and it could be the perfect excuse to have a green style party by promoting all things green and eco like having an organic picnic at the beach, collecting shells and examining rock pools, or planting trees and plants or sowing seeds to 'give something back'.
