RECYCLE YOUR TV FOR DIGITAL SWITCHOVER

Did you know that Cardiff TV’s are going digital by the end of March so campaigners are calling on you at home, to recycle any unwanted old TV sets in time for the digital switch-over.
Try not to leave your television set collecting dust in your attic or garage as these can be recycled in other ways but more importantly avoid putting your television set out with the weekly rubbish as this just ends up sitting on landfill sites.
Waste Awareness Wales is urging consumers to throw away your old electrical TV’s goods safely and responsibly without causing harm to others and the environment so you could try contacting your local electrical shop and ask if they will take from you as they will be able to throw away these items safely.
