There are so many people to thank for the creation of the Really Rubbish for Secondary Schools. The original Really Rubbish Campaign was inspired by Phil Sherratt, Guy Weinzweig, Simon Richards, Claire Cutforth, Will Breckenridge, all from Cardiff Council. The campaign was devised by Peter Acton.
Many thanks to Alex Mills who created and designed the website, and a big thanks to Matt Lewis who wrote a lot of the content for it! Also Sue Davies who liaised with the schools.
Our thanks go to Rachel Mudd and Scarlett Fish who project managed the creation of Really Rubbish for Secondary Schools.
The Lambys were created by Peter Acton, and were drawn by Oliver Marsh, who did a fantastic job of helping the Lambys to grow up.
None of this would have been possible without the help of some amazing teachers who assisted in getting Really Rubbish on its feet. A special thank you goes to Sally Bird and Martin Palmer-Smith who, following the initial stages, created the information for the Teachers Zone, and assisted in the launch of the campaign to schools.
Also, big thanks goes to all of the teachers and pupils who attended a Really Rubbish workshop at Really Rubbish Headquarters to help create ideas for the site and make it as good as it is today!
Thanks to Nia Wyn, our Welsh Translator, who did a fantastic job, devoting so much of her time to the Welsh version of the site!
We would also like to thank Alan Geach, Jane Cherrington and Tara King, who helped with the creation of the first Really Rubbish Campaign. Without their help at the beginning Really Rubbish for Secondary Schools wouldn’t have been possible.
Also, a big thank you to RG Print, sponsors of the Really Rubbish Campaign.
