The REALLY RUBBISH Campaign

Helping Cardiff to make less waste

Wow, there are so many people to thank, anyway, here goes. The Really Rubbish Campaign was created by Peter Acton , with the inspiration of Guy Weinzweig, Phill Sherratt and Claire Cutforth, all three from Cardiff Council.  Alex Mills designed and created the Really Rubbish Website and Matt Lewis wrote loads of it!  The Lambys were created by Peter and Matt and Alex had them drawn, but we are awaiting the name of the artist who was in South Africa when he created them, so we will add them when we know.  Then along came Alan Geach, the educational guru of Cardiff Council who provided so much guidance we cannot thank him enough.  Our great friend Richard Handscombe of Careers Wales, organised the three teachers who came to Really Rubbish HQ and produced the fantastic lesson plans and teaching resources and they are Liz Evans, Helen Gubby and Vicki Nowells, although Vicki has now moved to Australia but promises to keep checking our site, which is cool.  We also want to thank Will Breckenridge who is part of the Cardiff Council Recycling Team who is such a great presenter at our Recycling Workshops that he should be fronting Blue Peter! We all want to thank Jane Cherrington, from Waste Management at Cardiff Council for keeping an eye on us with such patience, Dave Id and Brother George of the Splott Brothers..thank us all!

Also, a big thank you to RG Print, sponsors of the Really Rubbish Campaign.
